Xæra's general position is simple: we do not want access to people’s private information unless it is genuinely necessary to operate the business or respond to a request.
This Privacy Policy explains how Xæra may handle information in connection with its software products, website, and physical goods.
1. Core principle
We believe user data belongs to the user. Xæra aims to build products that minimize data access and avoid collecting personal information unless there is a clear operational reason to do so.
2. Software products
Xæra's software products are intended to avoid unnecessary collection of personal data. As a general rule, we do not want to read, store, sell, profile, or harvest user content.
If an app stores or syncs data, that function is intended to serve the user directly, such as saving settings or allowing the user’s own information to remain available on their devices or through Apple services they choose to use.
3. Website and contact communications
If you email Xæra at support@xaera.com or beta@xaera.com, we may receive the information you include in that message, such as your email address, your name, and the contents of your request.
We use that information only to respond, provide support, review beta feedback, or manage a related customer-service matter.
4. App Store and third parties
Xæra software is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple may collect information when you browse, download, purchase, or use App Store services. That collection is governed by Apple’s own privacy practices, not this policy.
Xæra may also rely on service providers such as website hosting, domain providers, email providers, or payment platforms for physical goods. Those services may process limited information as needed to operate their systems.
5. Physical goods and orders
If Xæra sells physical goods directly, limited information may be needed to complete an order, such as a shipping name, shipping address, and contact details. That information is used only for order fulfillment, communication, and basic record keeping.
6. No sale of personal information
Xæra does not sell personal information and does not build products around exploiting customer data.

If we receive support emails, beta feedback, or order-related information, we may retain that information only as long as reasonably necessary to handle the request, maintain records, or meet legal or operational obligations.
